Our Asbestos Abatement Technician are responsible for working with asbestos, mold, lead, and/or other hazardous waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety, hazardous materials handling, etc. The individual will participate in occasional industry training, update certifications, and maintain fitness levels as required for the Environmental industry. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. This position reports directly to the Project Director and interfaces with other departments within the company as required.

Asbestos Abatement Technician Role:
As an Asbestos Abatement Technician, you'll work on projects involving asbestos, mold, lead, and hazardous waste removals. Your work will align with company policies, safety procedures, and regulations set by EPA, OSHA, and local authorities.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Work with asbestos, mold, lead, and hazardous waste removals.
Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, along with EPA, OSHA, and local regulations.
Participate in industry training, maintain certifications, and stay fit for the demands of the job.
Collaborate with Project Director and other departments as needed.
Environmental Technician | Asbestos & Lead Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead technician in construction or restoration/mitigation field.
Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to apply them daily.
Knowledge of company policies, SOPs, and adherence to guidelines.
Competency in hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in the job.
Continuous growth mindset with open-mindedness for learning and sharing knowledge.
Good grasp of English language (reading, writing, verbal).
Ability to pass Respirator Physical and obtain respiratory fit exam.
Ability to interpret basic instructions and Material Data Sheets.
Industry certifications preferred, with willingness to undergo required medical exams.
Physical abilities include repetitive hand motion, lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and extended hours.
